To reproduce using attached file:
Open Drawing workbench
Select Fusion028 part
Select insert view into page icon
Error occurs.
Additional InformationPart was downloaded as a step file from vendors CAD resources.

http://www.ttabconnectors.com/drawings/ABCIRP/size%2018%20fixed%20socket.zip

The part was then fused with bolts and nuts to allow easy rotation and assembly.

Ubuntu 11.10 Linux, FreeCAD compiled from svn: updated and compiled 10th Nov 2011.

Can reproduce on Windows. Seams the B-Spline transfer to SVG seams not to work
in that case...

The same issue is observed with FreeCAD updated to FreeCAD 0.13, Libs: 0.13R5359 and OCC updated to 6.5.2

Thinking that the problem may be with rendering the threads cut in the connector, as they would render in bsplines in 2D, to compare I tried to make a 2D view of the M6 bolt I posted in this topic: http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1222&p=11120&hilit=m6+bolt+thread#p11120

Although it takes a long time to generate the view (at least 3 minutes), it does succeed.

This doesn't happen any more.
