| Description | If you create a Datum line or Datum plane in one body, then create a shape binder for that datum in a second body, the object referenced by the shape binder cannot be selected for constraints in a sketch. | Steps To Reproduce | Open the file DatumShapeBinder.FCStd Double-click Body001 to activate it. Part Design WB Create new sketch in XY Plane (Note the ShapeBinder plane is valid for creating a new sketch) Note that neither the datum line nor the datum plane show up, and therefore cannot have an external geometry link made to them for constraint purposes. Click on the Model tab. Click on Body to select it. Space to make it visible Note that the plane and line show up. Click on External Geometrty tool Click on line and plane; you'll get a beep, as they are still unselectable. | ||||
