Summary | 0003480: Lead in/out dressup produces poor paths on operations with multiple start points.
Description | An operation like face profile can process both the external profile and the internal holes. The cutter must raise up, rapid to another position and descend again. In these cases, the paths produced are messy and usually not workable.
Steps To Reproduce | Model a flat part with an internal hole larger than the desired tool. Create a job, select the top face and create a 'profile based on faces' operation. Tick the option to process holes. Verify that a path is created. Select the path and apply the lead in/out dressup.

The original developer of this dressup passed away this year. No one has stepped up to maintain the code or resolve issues. I'm pushing this to 0.19 in hopes it gets addressed. |
|
This appears to be resolved by an earlier PR. Creating a pad with a hole, adding a new profile operation processing inside holes and circles and then dressing up with a new leadinout dressup yields a proper path. |
