Summary0003411: Pockets can not be created properlly on a imported .stl part
DescriptionPockets can not be created properlly on a imported .stl part. If you try to create a pocket using one side of the part, the part get black and partly disappears beeing no more solid part. Trying to find out, if the behavior could be a bug, I uninstalled the version v0.16 and tried the version 0.14. Using that version is working properlly
Steps To Reproduce1-Import a .stl part
2-Create shape from mesh... -> 0.10mm
3-Convert to solid
4-Refine shape
5-Select one side of the part
6-Part Design -> Create Sketch
7-Draw a circle (the figure you draw is not relevant)
8-Pocket (the figure you drawed the step before)
After that the part should get corrupt
TagsNo tags attached.

 this is not a bug. He missed ONE step ..
STL must be converted to solid BEFORE working on it in part design., there is even a warning coming up .

see the pocket in the complex STL of the screenshot..
